In recent years, Shenzhen, China's center of technology and innovation, has captured nationwide attention for its dynamic business development. In this innovative “rainforest,” companies are thriving. Data shows that Shenzhen consistently leads major Chinese cities in both the number of market entities and entrepreneurial density.
深圳，何以成為企業創新的“雨林”和沃土？來自土耳其的Rahsende Atay（以下簡稱Rash）在深圳生活兩年半，目前在深圳、香港開設跨國公司MarcomBase，河套深圳園區成為她了解深圳創新與國際交流的絕佳窗口。
金秋十月，秋高氣爽。登高遠眺，陽光下的深圳河猶如一條緞帶，將0.87平方公里的香港園區、3.02平方公里的深圳園區緊密聯系起來。
What makes Shenzhen a "rainforest" and a fertile ground for corporate innovation? Rahsende Atay (hereinafter referred to as Rash), a Turkish entrepreneur, has lived in Shenzhen for two and a half years. She currently operates MarcomBase, a multinational company in both Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The Development Authority of Shenzhen Park of Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology·Innovation·Cooperation·Zone has become an ideal window for her to explore Shenzhen's innovation and international exchanges.
On a crisp, sunny autumn day in October, the view from above reveals the Shenzhen River gleaming in the sunlight, closely linking the 0.87 square kilometers of Hong Kong's park with the 3.02 square kilometers of Shenzhen's park.
跨小河，開先河，河套深港科技創新合作區正在成為粵港澳大灣區以科技創新為主題的重要特色平臺。
河套深圳園區的河套科創中心是Rash考察河套的第一站，這里為各類公司提供孵化平臺，占地約2.6萬平方米，以構建綜合性國家科學中心為目標導向，致力營造集頂級“科技研發、實驗室、配套服務、交流融合”功能于一體的高端科研綜合體。
Crossing the small river, and breaking new ground—the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Cooperation Zone is emerging as a unique platform in the Greater Bay Area, with a strong focus on technological innovation.
Rash's first stop in Hetao was the Hetao Innovation Center in the Shenzhen park. Covering an area of about 26,000 square meters, the center serves as an incubation platform for various companies, driven by the vision of establishing a comprehensive national scientific hub. It strives to create a high-end research complex that integrates top-tier “scientific research and development, laboratories, supporting services, and exchange integration.”
用一座圖書館，將河套科研配套服務“鏈起來”，是河套深港科技創新合作區圖書館（深圳市科技圖書館福田分館）2023年9月設立的初衷。這里共設有電子檢索區、沉浸式閱覽區、24小時微型圖書館等八個功能區，與國家科技資源共享服務平臺的無縫銜接，持續為科研人員提供最前沿的科技動態、多元開放的文獻數據庫等國際科技信息共享服務。
在這個413平方米的圖書館里，Rash意外發現一本土耳其攝影家Ara Guler的攝影錄，不禁感慨“他鄉遇故知”。這本書由2006年諾貝爾文學獎獲得者Orhan Pamuk編撰，巧合的是，在Ara Guler生前，Rash曾與他有過一面之緣。“他曾經為丘吉爾、畢加索拍攝過照片，是一位令世人尊敬的攝影家。”Rash說道。
The Shenzhen Scienceand Technology Library （Futian branch）, established in September 2023, aims to “link” Hetao's scientific research support services with library resources. The library has eight functional areas, including an electronic retrieval area, immersive reading spaces, and a 24-hour mini-library. It is seamlessly connected with the National Science and Technology Resource Sharing Service Platform, offering researchers access to the latest scientific developments and an extensive, open database of international scientific information.
In this 413-square-meter space, Rash unexpectedly discovered a photography album by Turkish photographer Ara Guler. Delighted, she remarked, "It feels like meeting an old friend in a foreign land." The book, compiled by Orhan Pamuk, the 2006 Nobel Prize in Literature laureate, held special meaning for Rash, as she had met Ara Güler before his passing. “He had photographed Winston Churchill and Pablo Picasso. He was a photographer deeply respected by the world,” Rash remarked.
在河套深港科技創新合作區e站通綜合服務中心，福田區政務服務和數據管理局工作人員向Rash展示了外籍人員如何一站式便捷申請各種證件，簽證的操作。Rash表示，這里的操作以及外語人員的服務高效、便捷、溫馨，讓她體會到賓至如歸的感覺。
一天的考察下來，Rash深切感受到河套合作區為何能成為企業創新的沃土，她也相信，在深圳創業、生活是正確的選擇，這座城市提供的商機和可能性遠比她想象的要多。
At the e-station Integrated Services Center in the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Cooperation Zone, staff from the Futian District Government Services and Data Management Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality demonstrated to Rash how foreign nationals can easily apply for various documents and visas through their streamlined, one-stop services. Rash commented that the efficient, convenient, and welcoming services provided by the multilingual staff made her feel truly at home.
After a full day of visits, Rash deeply understood why the Hetao Cooperation Zone has become fertile ground for corporate innovation. She is now more certain than ever that choosing to start her business and live in Shenzhen was the right decision, as the city's business opportunities and potential far exceed her expectations.
